We just posted the photo gallery of the AK-OLDIES tailgate at the Central Michigan game. It was Kegs and Eggs on a snowy Friday morning. Everyone had a great time. Thanks to all of the new members that signed up at the tailgate and after the game.

Let's cheer the Zips on against Temple!!! The Owls are coming off of their first MAC win.  The Zippers need us!

The Zips beat the Golden Flashes 27-20 in exciting fashion! The AK-OlDIES represented well during both the game and the pre-game tail gate party.

The AK-OLDIES made a proud appearance at the Akron vs. OSU game Saturday. Tailgating was a blast. And Akron representation in the Korn Hole game going undefeated against other Buckeye fans.

The next event for the AK-OLDIES will be a tailgate party September 22 in Tailgate City at the Rubber Bowl for the Kent State game.  Kick off is noon.  More details as game day draws near.

Akron lost to OSU 20-2, but they didn't go without a fight. Akron scored early off an OSU safety and held the Buckeyes to a 3-2 lead at halftime. Ohio State fans were nervous for much of the game. They should have a new respect for their Northeast Ohio neighbors.

It was a beautiful day for football and for tail gaiting before the Patriot Bowl on Saturday, September 1, 2007. There were many Zips fans representing their team and several people were sporting their new AK-OLDIES t-shirts! May new members also took the time to join and get their t-shirt. Have you joined?
